About Us

From a young woman who had to mature quickly with a husband and children  at the age of 18 when all of my peers were still trying to figure out who they were, I started to pick up skills needed to be a successful wife and mother. A beautiful soul by the name of Ramille “Doll” Coleman stepped in when I had no one else and gave me all of the essentials needed to help my family from cooking, grocery shopping, money management and etc. One thing she taught me that has helped us survive all these years was the art of sewing. I started with making school clothes for my children to doing alterations on those same clothes to save money on school clothes purchased the year before. Eventually I found myself with the ability to do much more slowly moving from prom dresses to bridal gowns. It saddens me to see such a valuable skill slowly dwindle away in our society, especially in a time like now when the economy is so fragile. You may have missed the first part of my journey up until this point, but I encourage you to follow the story of Anjuhl’s as we continue to grow and touch more lives along the way.
